Crews responding to fuel leak in Adams Township

ADAMS TWP. — Crews are responding to a diesel fuel leak in Breakneck Creek near Hutchman Road and Clay Avenue.
“As of now, we have a diesel leak in the creek, and we are just trying to get it stopped,” said Doug Mellinger, captain at Adams Area Fire District. He did not provide additional details.
Callery VFC, Adams Area Fire District, and the Butler Hazmat Team are responding.
A SWIFT message was sent out to Adams residents by phone and SMS advising people to avoid the creek.
