Agnes Keegan

Keegan

Agnes C. Keegan, 73, of Forward Township, passed away peacefully on Aug. 13, 2022.

She was the beloved wife for 39 years to John “Jack” Keegan.

She was the loving mother of John Keegan Jr., Padraic “Paddy” Keegan and Kevin Keegan; stepmother of Kerry (Kevin) Mulhern and Michael (Erin) Keegan; sister of Noreen and Charlotte “Charlie” and the late Bernard, Richard “Dick,” Lawrence “Larry” and Modesta “Mickie”; and the grandmother of Ronan, Damien, Hayden and Logan.

Agnes had a heart of gold. She would go out of her way to help anybody at any time. She volunteered her time for every field trip and event possible at Holy Sepulcher Church and school while her children were enrolled there and continued doing so for many years after. She was a devoted member of the church choir. She helped coordinate funeral luncheons as well, offering her comfort and compassion to those families in grieving.

She loved her family more than could ever be expressed in words. The bond shared between her husband, Jack, and herself was something out of a fairy tale. Her devotion to her children was pure. Her unconditional love for her grandchildren was true.

Agnes’ love, compassion and support was contagious and boundless. She was happy and willing to share it with you — whether she knew you for a lifetime or only for a moment. The world was made brighter by her time here, and her light will live on forever in the hearts and souls of all those who were blessed enough to have her in their lives.
