An event hosted by Rep. Marci Mustello, R-11th, gathered about 40 community organizations at the Butler Farm Show grounds in Connoquenessing Township for a free family fun night Tuesday.
Mustello said she hosted this event and others like it to showcase the organizations and resources available to county residents that they may not be aware of.
“It’s an opportunity for the community to see and learn about the services out there that are right in our county,” she said Tuesday.

Some of the organizations included the Butler Area Public Library, the Center for Community Resources, Butler County Farm Bureau and the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, as well as state police, the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company.
