Harmony business burglarized, money from charity boxes stolen

File photo

Zelienople police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people involved in a burglary Wednesday night at Wunderbar Coffee and Crepes in Harmony.

According to Sgt. Kevin Mikulan, the suspects took $300 from charity boxes in the store. Mikulan said the money was all that was reported stolen.

“The damage was in the rear,” he said, adding that they broke two door windows that scattered broken glass.

The store’s Facebook page showed surveillance footage of someone approaching the business and looking inside. Other footage showed a person dressed in a hoodie walking around inside the store with a flashlight.

Mikulan encouraged the public to watch the released surveillance footage, and that people have been responding with information about the suspects. Anyone with information that could identify them are encouraged to comment on the Facebook posts.
