Butler County Community College split a pair of women’s volleyball matches Saturday, defeating Anne Arundel CC 3-0 and dropping a 3-2 decision to Northern Virginia CC.

Match scores against Anne Arundel were 25-19, 25-18, 25-7.

Aslyn Pry led the Pioneers with 16 kills. Breanna Reisinger contributed 11 kills, Madi Raypush 18 digs and Morgan Jack 36 assists.

Match scores against Northern Virginia CC were 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 22-25, 15-17.

Pry had 21 kills for BC3 while Reisinger had 14 kills, Raypush 51 digs and Jack 45 assists. The Pioneers play at CCAC at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Golf

Troy Loughry earned medalist honors with a 5-under-par 67 as Butler County Community College defeated Westmoreland, 290-336, at North Park Golf Course.

Liam Kosior added a 68 for the Pioneers (5-0). Knoch graduate Cory Voltz shot a 77, Freeport grad Jack Mason a 78 and Tanner Hohmann an 88.

The Pioneers play Monday at Glengarry Golf Club.
