FLAGS RETIRED — The Boy Scouts of Troop 6 in Butler conducted a flag retirement ceremony Sept. 11 on the grounds of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. The Scouts collected over 150 worn flags from the parishioners of All Saints Parish (their charter organization) and other community members. In the solemn ceremony, each flag was individually retired. The day of the ceremony was chosen in memory and honor of the men and women who defend our freedoms. Submitted photo
