Daryl “Boldy” Claypoole, 64, of Butler passed away on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022.

He was born in Butler on Jan. 4, 1958, the son to the late Charles and Etta (Claudgers) Claypoole.

Daryl attended Karns City High School. He loved bingo, cards, fishing and archery hunting. He was loved and will be forever missed.

Daryl was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Selfridge) Claypoole, since their marriage in 1976; father of Brad (Heidi) Claypoole, Tina (Derek) Claypoole and Daryl Claypoole II; and stepfather of John Dunkle. He is expecting a great-grandchild, and he is also survived by one brother, two sisters, seven grandchildren, one brother in-law and two sisters in-law.

CLAYPOOLE — Family and friends of Daryl “Boldy” Claypoole, who died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
