BUTLER TWP — Morgan Jack tallied 31 assists Saturday as the Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team defeated Howard CC, 3-0. Match scores were 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Aslyn Pry had 10 kills for the Pioneers (12-2) while Breanna Reisinger added 10 kills and five aces, Abby Granato seven kills. The Pioneers host Garrett College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Golf

Liam Kosior led BC3 with an 81 as the Pioneers defeated Westmoreland CCC 347-363 Friday at Somerset Country Club.

Knoch graduate Cory Voltz and Freeport graduate Jack Mason both carded 87. Tanner Hohman shot a 92. Westmoreland’s Chase Richardson was medalist with a 76.
