Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Sept. 12 — Rick McCune, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three felony counts of theft and false statement. Police said he received payments of $7,600, $19,260 and $6,000 for building a garage for a customer. Police said McCune has not taken action to return the money and has not made attempts to finish the project on the timeline agreed upon.

Butler City

Sept. 10 — Deanna M. Russo, 52, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft. Police said she left Dollar General with several items without paying for them.

Butler Twp

Sept. 11 — Raeanne Teesdale, 20, of Philadelphia, and Taylor Ware, 25, of Kittanning, were involved in a vehicle crash after Teesdale failed to yield when exiting onto Route 422 from Route 8, police said, adding that Ware was transported for injuries, and Teesdale received two traffic citations.

Cranberry Twp

Sept. 12 — Robert S. Odenthal, 60, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he grabbed his wife by the throat and shoved her, causing her to injure her back.

Jackson Twp

Sept. 12 — Marc D. Kovach, 35, of McKeesport, was charged with misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said he gave a bad check totaling $586 to a business and owes that business $626.

Sept. 12 — Tammy J. Mimnaugh, 54, of McKeesport, was charged with misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said she gave a bad check totaling $736 to a business and owes that business $776.

Sept. 12 — Nyroya L. M. Demery, 25, of Beaver Falls, was charged with misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said she gave a bad check totaling $831 to a business and owes that business $871.

Sept. 12 — Kaywood E. Harris, 28, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said he gave a bad check totaling $614 to a business and owes that business $654.

State police, Butler

Sept. 13 — Charles V. Dombroski, 27, of Gibsonia, was charged with four misdemeanor DUIs and two misdemeanors of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him March 22 in Penn Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and suspected heroin, four needles, a THC vape pen and empty stamp bags were found in the vehicle following a search.

Sept. 12 — John C. Lyons, 50, of Jackson Center, was charged with five misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him Aug. 6 on Harmony Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Lyon’s blood-alcohol content at 0.148% with traces of Oxycodone and THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 12 — John R. Harvey, 31, Sarver, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said he was involved in a vehicle crash Sept. 9 on Saxonburg Boulevard, Clinton Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Harvey’s blood-alcohol content level at 0.171%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 12 — Nicholas P. Unruh, 34, of New Kensington, was charged with two misdemeanors, including false identification to a police officer. Police officers said they stopped him Sept. 7 on Hinchberger Road, Summit Township. Police said Unruh had an active warrant out of the Westmoreland County sheriff’s office.

Sept. 12 — Cade L. Ford, 18, of Butler, was charged with five misdemeanors of possessing drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him April 30 on Byers Road, Clay Township. Police said marijuana wax, THC vape cartridges, a glass smoking bong and two marijuana wax smoking devices were found in his vehicle when searched.

Sept. 12 — Kevin L. Buczynski, 40, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police say they stopped him Sept. 6 on Reibold Road, Forward Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Buczynski’s blood-alcohol content at 0.123%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Sept. 10 — Gregory D. McCauley, 40, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he pushed a woman following an argument.
