Committee formed to discuss future of Poplar Forest park
A committee of six people was formed at the Slippery Rock Borough council meeting Tuesday night to discuss the future of a passive park in Poplar Forest housing development.
According to council president Jeff Campbell during a phone interview Wednesday, council members, residents of the development, and those with arborist backgrounds expressed interest in meeting about the green space near Sassafras Drive and Kelly Road.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the borough building, 306 East Water St.
