Butler County Dairy Princess awarded ‘Miss Congeniality’ at state pageant
Brooklyn Peters, Butler County’s Dairy Princess, competed at the Pennsylvania Dairy Princess Pageant on Sept. 24 in Harrisburg, where she received the title “Miss Congeniality.”
Peters, 20, was one of 22 county princesses vying for a state princess title. Each contestant was able to submit a scrapbook, poster display and three dairy recipes. They also took a dairy knowledge test and were judged on their own dairy-themed skit, speech and radio spot.
Peters’ “Miss Congeniality” award was voted on by her princess peers and was given to the girl who displayed the most kindness, charisma and confidence.
