The Knoch School District resumed its normal school procedures Thursday after a threat prompted the district to operate under a modified lockdown on Tuesday Wednesday.

That includes a return to all extracurricular activities, according to a statement from the district.

“Although the criminal investigation continues, we do not believe the threat to have been credible,” Jenny Webb, district spokeswoman, said in the statement.

She said the district will continue its high level of school police presence and daily security measures, and will collaborate with state police in seeking any assistance necessary.

“We appreciate everyone’s diligence in helping us maintain a safe and secure school environment for our students and staff,” Webb said. “Thank you for your patience and support through this challenging week.”
