1 injured after crash in Cranberry Township
CRANBERRY TWP — One person was injured and taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Robinhood Drive and Rochester Road in Cranberry Township around 9:45 Saturday morning.
Traffic was limited to one lane along Rochester Road, while a tow truck removed the two vehicles, until around 10:20 a.m.
According to Butler County 911 dispatchers, the incident was originally called in as a car on fire, but once fire until departments arrived, the car was no longer smoking.
Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company division chief Mike Hanks said the “smoke” was likely dust from an air bag.
Cranberry Township Police and EMS along with Adams Area Fire District, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, and Harmony Fire District responded to the accident.
