Alice C. Koch, 95, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born March 10, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Clement and Cecile (Abeglien) Chahine.

Alice graduated from St. Mary of the Mount High School Class of 1944.

She was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving is her son, John M. (LaVerne) Koch Jr. of West Deer Township; her daughter, Michele K. Harbison of East Butler; her grandchildren, John (Heidi) Koch, Heather Koch, Benjamin Koch, Cariann (Dave) Mischen, Christine Gapinski, Eric (Sugin) Hill, Matthew (Becky) Hill and Michael P. Koch Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Joey, Jack, Brooklynn, Ashley, Allie, Emily and Sara; and one sister, Florence Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Koch Sr., whom she married April 6, 1946, and who passed away June 9, 2000; her son, Michael P. Koch; her daughter, Maureen C. Lutz; and her siblings, Oscar Chahine, Elizabeth Chahine and Ruth Knittle.

KOCH — Friends of Alice C. Koch, who died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.

Entombment will be in the mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
