Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Oct. 15 — Matthew R. Salomon, 29, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats and simple assault. Police said he threatened to kill a child with a bow and arrow and a gun.
Oct. 16 — Deontae J. Thompson, 31, of Michigan, was charged with felony eluding an officer, possession of marijuana and several traffic citations.Police said he failed to obey a traffic stop on Route 8 and fled on foot to East Pearl Street, Butler City.
Oct. 16 — Destiny Stemmerick, 27, of Slippery Rock, received traffic citations. Police said she crashed into the vehicle of Genevieve Kilroy, 41, of Butler, at the intersection of New Castle and North Eberhart Roads. Kilroy was transported or injuries.
Oct. 15 — Veronica R. Gregio, 20, of Butler, and Kayla J. Campbell, 26, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Pittsburgh Road after police said Gregio rear ended Campbell’s vehicle.
Oct. 16 — Cody A. Isaacson, 30, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony eluding an officer and misdemeanor DUI, possession of marijuana and several traffic citations after police said he failed to obey a traffic stop on Franklin Street. Police said he led them in a chase then abandoned his motorcycle and took off on foot. Following a search, police found one dose of LSD, suspected meth and marijuana, a glass pipe and two hypodermic needles on his person.
Oct. 17 — Leeanna G. Porter, 76, of Butler, and Michael T. Rottman, 54, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Oneida Valley Road and Patten Lane after police said Porter drove her vehicle in front of Rottman’s without proper clearance. Police said Porter was transported for injuries.
Oct. 17 — Trenton M. Snow, 22, of Grove City, was charged with felony and misdemeanor false statement after police said he answered a question incorrectly when applying to purchase a firearm at Rural King in Center Township.
Oct. 17 — John D. Benik, 72, of Sarver, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Sept. 3 on North Main Street Extension, Center Township. Police said a later blood test showed Benik’s blood-alcohol level at 0.121%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Oct. 17 — Robin D. Geagan, 60, of West Sunbury, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped her Oct. 11 on Central Drive, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed Geagan’s blood-alcohol at 0.092%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Oct. 16 — Matthew J. Legler, 23, of Natrona Heights, was involved in a vehicle crash on Route 8 in Mercer Township after police said he fell asleep while driving and struck a utility pole. Police said he left the scene before informing them of the incident.
Oct. 16 — Christy Lee Lower, 27, of Butler, and Seth J. Stephenson, 21, of East Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Grant Avenue and East Butler Road. Police said Lee Lower failed to stop at a stop sign and struck Stephenson’s vehicle.
Oct. 3 — Michael L. Stockett, 40, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanor stalking and summary harassment after police said he and other community members reported verbal altercations between them to law enforcement on multiple occasions.
