SRU women’s hoops picked 8th in West
LOCK HAVEN — The Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team has been picked to finish eighth in the PSAC West on the league’s preseason coaches poll this season.
California (Pa.) is picked to win the West, followed by Gannon, Edinboro, Indiana (Pa.), Seton Hill, Pitt-Johnstown, Mercyhurst, SRU and Clarion. Kuyzstown is picked to win the East.
Play gets under way Nov. 11 with league play set to begin Dec. 2.
