Vehicle crash or accidentfor web use; big enough for print

One person died from injuries suffered in a two vehicle crash on Route 38 between Glennwood Way and Pine Tract Road Monday morning.

According to Butler County coroner, William Young III, the 27-year-old female driver of a sedan died from blunt force trauma.

Officials said they responded to reports of a head-collision between the sedan and a SUV at 6:16 a.m. Both vehicles had severe front end damage.

The driver and one passenger from the SUV were taken by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries.

Route 38 was closed until 9:30 a.m. while state police investigated the crash.

Unionville Volunteer Fire Company and Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the crash.
