A 27-year-old woman who died in a car crash early Monday morning on Route 38 between Glenwood Way and Pine Tract Road in Center Township has been identified.

Kaitlin Selfridge of Karns City died from blunt force trauma suffered in a head-on collision between her sedan and an SUV at 6:16 a.m. Monday.

The driver and one passenger from the SUV were taken by Butler Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries. Both vehicles had severe front-end damage.

According to her obituary, Selfridge enjoyed music, taking pictures, and the company of her friends, and most especially, she enjoyed being “Mama” to her three kids who were the “loves of her life.”
