Reges

Shirley J. Reges, 85, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 10, 1937, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Harry Manny and Mary E. (Scott) Manny.

Shirley enjoyed crocheting, NASCAR, bingo, bowling, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Louis R. Reges of Butler; a son, David (Sandy) Reges of Butler; a daughter, Cindy (Guy) Martsolf of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Sally Reges of Butler; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betts Vandervort of Dayton, Pa., and Geraldine Kaylor of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Reges; a sister; and three brothers.

REGES — Friends of Shirley J. Reges, who died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Friday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Burial will be private.
