Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Nov. 4 — Reed J. Kuntz, 23, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said he crashed his vehicle on Myoma Road, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A later breath test showed Kuntz’s blood alcohol content at 0.240%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Nov. 4 — Patrick R. Connelly, 45, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him at Mars-Valencia Road and Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Connelly’s blood alcohol content at 0.187%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler Twp

Nov. 2 — Patrick James, 22, of Butler, was cited for public drunkenness. Police said he was observed walking up to the porch of a residence and alarming people inside.

Nov. 1 — Jessica Born, 23, of Butler, and Emily Smith, 33, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at Hansen Avenue and Route 8. Police said Born rear ended Smith’s vehicle.

Cranberry Twp

Nov. 7 — Samantha M. Schaub, 25, of Cranberry Township, and Ryan W. Schaub, 28, of Zelienople, were charged with misdemeanor endangering welfare of children. Police said they left marijuana within the reach of children.

Nov. 2 — Albert Surkhaev, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $294 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

State Police, Butler

Nov. 4 — Nazli A. Dum, 21, of Cranberry Township, was charged with six misdemeanor DUIs. Police said she crashed her vehicle Sept. 18 on Interstate 79, Jackson Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Dum’s blood alcohol content at 0.089% with traces of THC, Topiramate and Lamotrigine in her system. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Nov. 3 — Eric J. Jenkins, 31, of Philadelphia, was charged with misdemeanors of use and possession of drugs. Police said they stopped him Nov. 16, 2021 on Litman Road, Butler Township. Police said two cans of marijuana, a digital scale, razor blade, and Ziploc bags were found in his vehicle following a search.

Nov. 3 — Donald W. Myers, 36, of Butler, was charged with possessing drugs. Police said they stopped him Nov. 16, 2021 on Litman Road, Butler Township. Police said a crack pipe, four empty stamp bags, two stamp bags of suspected heroin and a cigarette containing suspected cocaine were found in his vehicle following a search.

Nov. 2 — George W. Willis Jr., 59, of Emlenton, was charged with a felony false written statement. Police said he answered a question incorrectly when applying to purchase a firearm in Washington Township.

Nov. 2 — Daniel W. Ernst, 29, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanors disorderly conduct and loitering and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone in the face.

Nov. 2 — Nicholas J. Solak IV, 20, of East Stroudsburg, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him Sept. 9 on Kiester Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in Solak’s blood.

Oct. 27 — Stephanie A. Kaltenbaugh, 22, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle crash on Freeport Road, Jefferson Township. Police said her vehicle was hit by another vehicle, which fled the scene before police arrived.

State Police, New Castle

Nov. 2 — Rachel E. Minehart-Ray, 47, of Renfrew, was involved in a vehicle crash on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Police said her vehicle was struck by another vehicle.
