Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Nov. 8 — Amanda R. Donolo, 37, of Coraopolis, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped her Nov. 1 on Route 228, and a field sobriety test showed she was impaired. A later breath test showed Donolo’s blood alcohol content at 0.158%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler Twp

Nov. 8 — Carol J. Kline, 74, of Renfrew, and Gloria L. Beechey, 85, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash on Route 68. Police said Beechey was cited for rear-ending Kline’s vehicle.

Cranberry Twp

Nov. 7 — Brandon L. Mathie, 39, of Mogadore, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Kohl’s with $298 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Evans City-Seven Fields Regional

Nov. 8 — Tamara A. Steele, 58, of Seven Fields, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI. Police said she crashed into a vehicle on Oct. 23 at the intersection of Route 228 and Seven Fields Boulevard. Police said Steele left the scene prior to their arrival, and that later field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.

State police, Butler

Nov. 9 — Daniel L. Rearick, 29, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor DUI. Police said they stopped him Nov. 4 on Kelly Lane in Bruin, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Nov. 8 — Mark A. Musser, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors false report and theft. Police said he used a credit card without permission for purchases totaling $273.

Nov. 8 — Steven J. Kirk, 59, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later blood test showed traces of benzolycgonine, cocaine, hydromorphone and oxycodone in his system.

Nov. 8 — Nahquan O. Jones, 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged with four misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him June 12 in Butler City, and that field sobriety test showed he was impaired. A later blood test showed traces of THC in Jones’ system.

Nov. 7 — Johnny D. Cox Jr., 38, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he threw a picture frame at someone’s head.

Nov. 7 — Benjamin P. Hobbs, 34, and Julie R. Hobbs, 36, of Sarver, were charged with felony endangering the welfare of children and summary harassment. Benjamin was additionally charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault. Police said they punched each other in the face and arms while Benjamin was operating a vehicle with children inside.

Nov. 7 — Shane W. Young, 49, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he had three empty glassine bags on his person.

Nov. 7 — Heidi S. Hile, 42, of Karns City, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI. Police said they stopped her Dec. 24, 2021, on Hindman Road, Butler Township, and that field sobriety tests showed she was impaired. A later blood test showed traces of methamphetamine in her system.

Nov. 7 — Ryan J. Duttine II, 30, of Petrolia, was charged with felony eluding an officer, misdemeanor flight to avoid apprehension and multiple traffic citations. Police said he failed to obey a traffic stop Sept. 30 on Old Plank Road, Butler Township.

Nov. 7 — Michael S. Grenek, 53, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Sept. 28 on New Castle Road, Muddy Creek Township. Police said a later blood test showed traces of Alprazolam and fentanyl in his system.

Nov. 7 — Floyd A. Omecinski, 66, of New Kensington, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI. Police said he crashed his vehicle Nov. 4 on Bonniebrook Road, Jefferson Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later breath test showed Omecinski’s blood-alcohol content at 0.215%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Nov. 4 — Russell S. Hoffman, 31, of Valencia, was charged with felony theft after police said he left 3 Rivers Harley Davidson with a total of $13,150 in motorcycle parts without paying for them.
