Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Nov. 12 — Austin Phillips, 21, of Parker, and Linda Gross, 79, of Fenelton, were involved a vehicle accident after police say Phillips hit Gross’ vehicle on Route 422. Police said Gross slid into the vehicle of Theresa Bowser, 57, of Adrian.
Nov. 9 — Scott T. Perez, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Nov. 6 on Pittsburgh Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Perez’s blood alcohol content at 0.212%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Nov. 9 — Seth A. Kennedy, 22, of Portersville, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Oct. 29 on Windy Knoll Lane. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Kennedy’s blood alcohol content at 0.114%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit 0.08%.
Nov. 13 — Chelsey A. Dale, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony theft after police said she left Sheetz with merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 17 — Brandon Geist, 37, of East Butler was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic dispute on Grant Street in East Butler involving Grace Geist, 65. On June 16, Brandon Geist was cited with two counts of disorderly conduct after doing “burnouts” with his motorcycle to spray dirt on a vehicle and kicking the driver’s side door of another vehicle in a parking lot along Grant Avenue in East Butler.
Nov. 16 — Vehicles driven by Brent E. Wilson, 42, of Butler and Jackquline C. McCann, 69, of Knox in Clarion County were involved in a crash on Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township at 11:30 a.m. Police said Wilson pulled out of a driveway and struck the driver’s side of McCann’s vehicle, which was traveling south. McCann’s vehicle spun and came to rest on Dreher Road, and she was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries of unknown severity, police said. Both vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene.
Nov. 14 — Jonathan Sandaloval Tovar, 31, of Greensboro, N.C., was charged with felony and misdemeanor false statement after police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Fenelton Firearms, Fenelton.
Nov. 14 — Matthew A. Thomas, 33, of Valencia, was charged with felony theft after police said he left Boscov’s with $2,750 of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 11 — Ava L. Boardman, 18, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle crash after police said the vehicle of Brion A. Scudder, 49, of Indiana, struck her vehicle on North Main Street, Clay Township.
Nov. 10 — Glenda M. Nimal, 49, of Dayton, was charged with felony retail theft after police said she left Boscov’s with $480 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 10 — Mary Jo Orf, 62, of Polk, was involved in a vehicle crash when police said she hit pedestrian Thomas G. Kahl, 64, of Knox, on Main Street, Harrisville Borough.
Nov. 10 — Brian M. Girardi, 39, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanors indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and summary public drunkenness after police said he exposed himself in a Dollar General on West Main Street, Saxonburg.
Nov. 9 — Marcus A. Daniels, 35, of Monroeville, was charged with felonies theft and forgery and misdemeanor tampering with records after police said he altered a check for $85 to the amount $2,377 from an Evans City business.
Nov. 9 — Kizzy C. Brewton, 45, of Erie, was charged with five misdemeanor DUIs after police said she crashed her vehicle Oct. 16 on Interstate 79. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Brewton’s blood alcohol content at 0.213% with traces of THC in her system. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Nov. 9 — Marci L. Smith, 61, of Worthington, was charged with misdemeanors of obscene language and public drunkenness after police said she caused a public disturbance.
Nov. 9 — Heather D. Denham, 45, and Bradley D. Kradel, 39, both of Chicora, were involved in a vehicle crash on South Main Street, Chicora Borough. Police said Denham failed to yield to Kradel’s vehicle and was struck.
