AHN to receive $1 million in RACP funding
The Allegheny Health Network Wexford Hospital will receive $1 million in funding from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program to be used to add parking to accommodate the growth of the campus, state Rep. Rob Mercuri, R-Allegheny, announced Monday.
“As AHN Wexford continues to serve the health and wellness needs of our community, this funding will support resident parking accessibility and reduce congestion as the hospital continues to expand their capabilities to provide services to our region,” Mercuri said. “I am grateful to RACP for its commitment to improving the lives of residents in our district through effective allocation of resources to where they are most needed.”
Funding for the project was authorized by lawmakers in the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act.
