The day you were born with those beautiful blue eyes, you were all mine.

We celebrated every year for 48 years with love and laughter!

Then you were no longer here, no longer mine to celebrate another year of your life.

Today on this day, the day of your birth, I will celebrate quietly.

I will reflect on all the love and laughter you gave to me.

For those who still have their sons, treat them with tender care.
