SRU announces 4 presidential candidates

The four candidates who will interview for Slippery Rock University’s presidential position were named in an announcement Tuesday.

The candidates include Chance Glenn, current provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Houston-Victoria; Karen Riley, provost at Regis University; David Jones, vice president of student affairs and enrollment management at Minnesota State University, Mankato; and Mirta Martin, former president at Fairmont State University.

The forum schedule is posted on the university website with specific times for non-faculty union and staff, managers, students and Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculty members to ask the candidates questions.

The public forums will take place at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 29, Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 in the Smith Student Center Theater on campus.
