Gray resigns from transit authority board
Butler Transit Authority will be looking to fill a seat on its board of directors in 2023.
Joe Gray announced at Tuesday’s meeting he will not be serving on the board as of next year, meaning the Butler County Commissioners will need to fill the position.
Gray has served on the board for 20 consecutive years.
In preparation for next year, the board reappointed Charles Savannah as chairman.
The board also approved applying $8,798 to match a state capital grant that’s pending approval. Those funds will go toward multiple unspecified projects.
The next transit authority meeting is scheduled for Dec. 13.
