Butler Township Public Works will be trimming trees on various roads throughout the township to prepare for upcoming winter weather.

Residents can contact the department by calling 724-283-3430, ext. 304. to alert the department of a tree or trees that need to be trimmed.

This keeps limbs from damaging delivery vehicles, garbage trucks, EMS and municipal vehicles, according to a Wednesday news release from Butler Township.
