One taken to hospital following crash with school bus
One person was taken to a hospital Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus on North Duffy Road, according to the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District.
Nobody from within the bus was taken to the hospital, but an occupant of the other vehicle was transported via ambulance, fire Chief Kevin Smith said Tuesday morning.
The bus was transporting Butler Area School District students in secondary grades.
The students were transferred to another bus to be taken to school.
A vehicle appeared to hit the rear end of the bus, Smith said.
The crash happened after 7 a.m. near the entrance to Target.
Also responding to the scene were Butler Ambulance Service, Butler Township Police and the VA Ambulance Service.
