Residents can look at Shearer Bridge plans
Virtual plans for the Shearer Bridge Preservation Project in Butler Township will be available for viewing online from Dec. 5 to 16.
Shearer Bridge carries Route 422 over Delwood Road, the Connoquenessing Creek, B&LE Railroad and B&P Railroad near the highway’s intersection with Route 68.
The purpose of the virtual plans display for this bridge preservation project is to share preliminary information on the project’s status, schedule, design and right of way acquisition.
State Department of Transportation representatives along with design consultants will be available to answer questions.
Construction of the project is anticipated for spring of 2025.
To access the display beginning Dec. 5, visit PennDOT.gov/District10, click on the Public Meetings link under the District Links heading, pick the Butler County box, then choose the Shearer Bridge Project tile.
