Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Nov. 27 — Jon R. Slupe, 42, of Butler, was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he fought someone in his backyard to the point of injury.

Butler Twp

Nov. 28 — Timothy R. Dykes, 40, of Ford City, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with merchandise without paying for it.

Nov. 28 — Charles H. McCarren, 38, of Butler, was charged with four misdemeanors of driving under the influence and misdemeanor possession of drugs. Police said he crashed his vehicle on Technology Drive.

Nov. 28 — Vahan N. Hovespian, 67, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft after an incident Nov. 28.

Nov. 27 — Nicholas Bellow, 20, of Chicora, and William Mizerak, 85, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash. Police said Bello’s vehicle hit Mizeak’s on Route 422.

Nov. 24 — Zane Perry, 31, of Butler, was cited for driving with a suspended license. Police said he crashed into a utility pole on Bullcreek Road.

Nov. 24 — John Conley Jr., 66, of Butler, and Jim Herman, 66, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash. Police said Conley’s vehicle rear-ended Herman’s vehicle on New Castle Road.

Nov. 21 — Justin Tirk, 29, of Butler, and Pamela Schiebel, 61, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash. Police said Tirk’s vehicle rear ended Schiebel’s vehicle on Route 68.

Penn Twp

Nov. 27 — Daniel K. Hood, 48, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors strangulation and simple assault, summary harassment and public drunkenness. Police said he put his hands around someone’s neck and repeatedly shoved them into the wall.

Saxonburg Boro

Nov. 23 — James C. Earley, 66, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats and harassment after police said he verbally threatened someone’s life multiple times.

State police, Butler

Nov. 28 — Shane W. Young, 49, was charged with felony forgery and misdemeanor theft. Police said he cashed a forged check for $780 on Aug. 15.

Nov. 27 — Aaron J. Albright, 36, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle accident. Police said he failed to negotiate a sharp left turn on East Eldorado Road, Parker Township.

Nov. 26 — Darla A. McPaul, 85, of West Sunbury, and Joseph A. Paga, 54, of Valencia, were involved in a vehicle crash. Police siad McPaul’s vehicle struck Paga’s vehicle on West Sunbury Road, Center Township.

Nov. 23 — Makenna E. Testa, 19, of Cabot, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs and traffic citations. Police said they stopped her Oct. 14 on Staff Road, Brady Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of alcohol and a controlled substance in her blood.

Nov. 23 — Christopher Price, 49, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct after police said he put his hands around someone’s neck and pushed them multiple times.

Nov. 22 — Michael S. Pinsker, 31, of Columbia, S.C., and Conner R. Heutsche, 23, of Erie, were involve in a vehicle crash. Police said Pinsker attempted to merge lanes and hit Heutsche’s vehicle.
