Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Nov. 27 — Brian J. Vlassich, 42, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he punched someone in the face, threw them out the door and threw their phone.
Nov. 24 — Christopher L. Perovich, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors trespassing and prowling at nighttime. Police said he hopped a concrete fence on a property he previously has trespassed on twice.
Nov. 24 — Ryan A. Fischer, 25, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him Nov. 23 on Pillow Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.
Nov. 24 — Larry D. Collingwood, 53, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed a package from someone’s porch.
Dec. 2 — A car driven by Alyse M. Moore, 31, of Butler, traveled off Route 8 at the intersection of Ann Arbor Lane, hit a curb, went through a ditch and then hit a speed limit sign, a tree and a shrub before coming to rest in the parking lot of a business at 139 Route 8. She was taken to the county prison for an alleged probation violation, police said.
Nov. 28 — A white Ford pickup rear-ended a vehicle at Greenwood Drive and Route 422. Police said the driver fled the scene. Anyone with information on the driver is asked to contact Butler Township police.
Nov. 27 — Donald Campbell, 60, of Chicora, was involved in a vehicle crash. Police said he traveled through a red light and struck a vehicle.
Nov. 19 — Robin Hile, 51, of Fenelton, and Kyle Boyer, 28, of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash/ Police said Hile’s vehicle rear-ended Boyer’s vehicle on Route 8 North and the Route 422 West ramp.
Nov. 27 — John G. Casamassa, 44, Coraopolis, was charged with misdemeanors trespassing and disorderly conduct. Police said he was asked to leave Woodspring Suites and refused.
Nov. 24 — Hunter S. Ecimovic, 22, of Freedom, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he sprayed someone with pepper spray following an argument.
Nov. 23 — Adam J. Burns, 49, of Carnegie, was charged with felony theft. Police said he left Home Depot with $337 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 21 — Kurt T. Lavsa, 33, of Cranberry, was charged with misdemeanors DUI, accidents involving personal injury, reckless endangerment and several traffic citations. Police said he hit an officer with his side mirror while passing a traffic stop.
Nov. 27 — Mia C. Bossler, 22, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she hit someone in the face.
Nov. 19 — Eugene F. Citrone, 62, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanors DUI, distribution of marijuana and possessing drugs. Police said they stopped him Aug. 14 on Interstate 79, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of marijuana in Citrone’s blood. He also was found in possession of marijuana and a pipe, police said.
Nov. 12 — A portable generator, tools, Christmas decorations and Lego toys with a combined value of $2,100 were reported stolen from several storage units on Unionville Road. The incident is under investigation.
Oct. 8 — Power tools, rifles, jewelry and other items with a combined value of about $13,585 were reported stolen from a home on North Pike Road in Winfield Township during a break in. The incident is under investigation.
