Man charged for 2nd retail theft in Cranberry Township

A man previously accused of playing a part in an alleged retail theft ring in Cranberry Township and surrounding counties is facing more charges.

Larry A. Jackson II, 26, of Pittsburgh, was charged Wednesday, Dec. 7, with two counts of misdemeanor conspiracy and two counts of misdemeanor theft by Cranberry Township police for a Nov. 13 incident at Home Depot.

Police said at 4 p.m., Jackson entered the store with a white male. The men placed three Milwaukee power tools valued at a total $507 into a shopping cart and passed all points of sale without paying.

Jackson previously was charged Dec. 1 with two counts of felony theft for his alleged role in a Nov. 21 incident where multiple laptops and other items were taken from Best Buy in Cranberry Township. The items had a combined value of $5,632.

Jackson also was charged by Bethel Park police in Allegheny County with felonies theft and criminal conspiracy, as well as several traffic citations, for a similar incident.

Three other males were seen on surveillance footage with Jackson during the incident in Cranberry Township.

Emmitt Bell-Young, Dion Crawford Jr. and Jordan Shine also are facing charges by Bethel Park police for the alleged theft in Allegheny County.

Preliminary hearings have not been scheduled for either of Jackson’s cases in Butler County.
