United Way offers $10M in grants
United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania officials announced Friday, Dec. 9, they are looking to partner with Butler County’s charitable agencies in distributing $10 million in funding through impact grants.
The United Way wants to empower charitable agencies to meet the needs of their clients in the community, according to a news release.
Using the $10 million, the grants will be invested in nonprofit, human service organizations in Butler, Beaver, Fayette Allegheny, Armstrong and Westmoreland counties.
Organizations of all sizes are encouraged to apply for funding.
Initial applications, which can be found at uwswpa.org/non-profits, are due by Jan. 12.
Grants will be announced in June.
