Freezing rain possible Wednesday night

Wet weather is on the way with a slight chance of snow and freezing rain Wednesday night and early Thursday, followed by snow that isn’t expected to accumulate.

The forecast calls for a 20% chance of snow showers turning into freezing rain Wednesday night and early Thursday.

Any precipitation that comes Wednesday will begin around midnight as snow showers, and could turn into freezing rain before changing into rain showers during the day Thursday when the high temperature will reach 40 degrees. Any freezing rain that develops is not expected to make roads icy.
