Ronald G. Moser, 92, of Butler, passed away Monday afternoon, Dec. 12, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

He was born on May 2, 1930, in Dunkirk, N.Y., and was a son of the late Harry Moser and Jennie (Becker) Moser.

Ronald was retired from F.W. Woolworth, where he worked for 45 years, retiring in 1992. Following his retirement, he worked part-time as a starter for the Buffalo Golf Course.

As a devout Catholic, he was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

He loved to golf, and had enjoyed gardening, working jigsaw puzzles, traveling, cooking and trips to the casino. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Rosemary (DeLucia) Moser, whom he married Aug. 21, 1954; two sons, Ronald H. (Lisa) Moser of Butler, and David F. (Kathy) Moser of Mars; five grandchildren, Sean Moser, Andrew (Bailey) Moser, Lisa (Matt) Bartlett, Michelle Moser and Megan (Devon) Lybarger; and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Clara and Anna, as well as a fourth that is to be born in March 2023.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

MOSER — There will not be a visitation for Ronald G. Moser, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.

Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery in Butler.

Arrangements were handled by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Butler Meals on Wheels, 218 E. Jefferson St., Butler.
