Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday by Common Pleas Judge Timothy McCune.

Michael David Campbell, 36, of Evans City, was sentenced to serve 21 days to 12 months in prison followed by 12 months of probation and pay $767.82 in restitution to Walmart. He pleaded guilty to three charges of retail theft filed in separate cases by Butler Township police following incidents on Feb. 17, Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.

Mark Alan McNamee, 41, of Zelienople, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation, pay a $100 fine and complete 25 hours of community service and anger management counseling after pleading guilty to a charge of recklessly endangering another person filed by state police following a May 11 incident.

Tyler Allen Albright, 30, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 18 months probation including two months of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pickup after pleading guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence filed in separate cases by state police following incidents on Nov. 12, 2020, and May 25 this year.

Tasha Elaine Lutz, 32, of Lyndora, was sentenced to serve 48 months of probation including nine months of house arrest and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by state police following an Aug. 28, 2019, incident.

Matthew L. McCale, 59, of Hubbard, Ohio, was sentenced to serve three to 23 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 24 months of probation after pleading guilty to three counts of retail theft and one count of conspiracy to commit retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a Jan. 17, 2020, incident.

Joseph Eugene Olcus, 60, of Butler, was sentenced to service six months of probation, have no contact with the victim and continue mental health treatment after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct filed by Butler City police following a Nov. 18, 2021, incident.

Ian Anthony McLaughlin, 33, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and continue receiving counseling after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by state police following a Feb. 19 incident.

Luke Justin Brandon, 23, of Prospect, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation, continue receiving mental health treatment and not to possess a firearm after pleading guilty to charges of recklessly endangering another person and simple assault filed by state police following a domestic violence incident Feb. 25. The victim suffered a concussion, bruises and scratches in the incident, according to a victim-impact statement read by a victim’s advocate. Brandon apologized to the victim and her family.

Elizabeth K. Welsh, 52, of Evans City, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and continue receiving mental health treatment after pleading guilty to a charge of recklessly endangering another person filed by Jackson Township police following a Sept. 5, 2021, incident.

Sherri Diane Ealy, 56, of Bruin, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 fine after being found guilty of hindering apprehension filed by state police following a Sept. 29, 2019, incident.

Dale Lee Kriess, 56, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation, complete 25 hours of community service and follow the recommendations from mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by Penn Township police following a Feb. 4 incident.

John Lee Mohan, 39, of Petrolia, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including five months of house arrest, pay fines totaling $2,500 and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pick up after pleading guilty to his second DUI offense, simple assault and driving with a suspended license filed by state police following a Sept. 3, 2021, incident.

Kimberley Kay Berry, 40, of Hilliards, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $17,000 in restitution to UPMC after pleading guilty to charges of forgery and tampering with public records filed by the state Attorney General’s office following a Jan. 1, 2021, incident.

The following defendants were sentenced Friday by Common Pleas Judge Kelley Streib.

Dana Eugene Martin III, 27, of Bruin. was sentenced to serve 16 to 60 months in state prison followed by 24 months of probation and pay fines totaling $6,000 after pleading guilty to his third and fourth driving under the influence offenses, driving with a suspended license and a probation violation. State police filed the DUI charges following separate incidents in Feb. 22, 2019. and March 13 this year. Slippery Rock police filed the suspended license charge following a June 1, 2021, incident.

Constatin Colceag, 42, of the U.K., was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to charges of access device and conspiracy to use an access device filed by Butler Township police following a May 19 incident.

Hannah Marie Hines, 24, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation after pleading to a charge of accidents involving death or injury filed by Butler City police following a May 20, 2020, incident.

Anita Workman, 55, of Carmichaels, Greene County, was sentenced to serve six months to 12 months in prison, but was paroled to serve six months of house arrest followed by six months of probation and pay $444.12 in restitution to Lowe’s after pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a Nov, 10, 2020, incident.

Gary Lynn McMasters Jr., 45, of Butler, was sentenced to serve nine months to 18 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to 42 months of probation including 285 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to his second DUI offense filed by state police following a Feb. 8 incident.

Matthew Senopole, 37, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six to 23½ months in prison, but was immediately paroled after receiving credit for already having served 178 days in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of strangulation filed by Middlesex Township police following a Jan. 12 incident.

Dayvon Rico Coleman, 22, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months probation and complete an anger management class after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by Butler City police following a June 29, 2021, incident.

Richard Justin Klear, 43, of New Brighton, Beaver County, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay fines totaling $900 after pleading no contest to charges of defiant trespass and two counts of harassment filed by Evans City -Seven Fields Regional police following a Sept. 30, 2020, incident, and pleading guilty to three counts of retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following two incidents on Feb. 19, 2021 and April 30, 2021.

Kevin Lamont Russell, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 12 to 60 months of prison, but was immediately paroled to serve six months of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to his second DUI offense filed by state police following a May 4, 2021, incident. In a second case, he was sentenced to concurrently serve six to 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve six months of house arrest and pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of driving with a suspended license filed by Middlesex Township police following a May 10, 2021, incident.

Elizabeth Anne McCarren, 32, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Dec. 27, 2021, incident.

Carlos Albert Medina, 40, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including seven days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $1,025 after pleading guilty to charges of DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia filed in two cases by Butler City police following incidents in June 8, 2020, and July 14, 2020

Arthur J. Cathcart, 38, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following an Aug. 14, 2021, incident.
