A communitywide luminaria display beginning at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve is being organized by the East Brady Area Development Corp.

The development corporation will provide the luminaria to light the full span of the East Brady Bridge, and residents and business owners are invited to make luminaria to place along the front of their properties.

Luminaria can be purchased or made using a flame-resistant white bag and long-life tea lights, which are available for purchase for $10 during regular business hours at the East Brady borough office, 502 Ferry St., Suite 15.

People making luminaria must provide their own sand or cat litter to provide weight in each bag.

All are welcome to drive across the bridge and through East Brady to view the magical Christmas Eve display.
