Identity theft reported by state police

State police responded to an incident in Brady Township where a 69-year-old Slippery Rock man’s identity was stolen.
An unknown person reportedly opened a savings account at American Express using the man’s name.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact state police barracks in Butler at 724-284-8100.
