Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Dec. 10 — James J. Gautreau, 49, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault, resisting arrest and terroristic threats. Police said he punched someone, threatened to shoot them with a BB gun, and struggled with officers.

Butler Twp

Dec. 13 — Paul Roth Jr., 61, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Target with $540 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Cranberry Twp

Dec. 14 — Jamika D. Willis, 38, of Aliquippa, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $461 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Dec. 13 — Andrew J. Vetterly, 35, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a misdemeanor of driving under the influence. Police said he crashed his vehicle Sept. 28 on Route 19. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and later blood tests showed traces of THC and Lorazepam in Vetterly’s system.

Dec. 13 — Ross W. Neary, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $150 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Dec. 13 — Brianna E. Osso, 25, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $194 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Dec. 12 — Joseph R. Birsa, 44, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he shoved someone and placed his hands on their neck during an altercation.

Dec. 9 — Roxanne V. Corson, 61, of Rochester, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $222 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Dec. 9 — Joseph Emmanuele, 44, of McKeesport, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Target with $549 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Evans City-Seven Fields Regional

Dec. 12 — Vincent T. Chriest, 38, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license following an incident Oct. 25.

Jackson Twp

Dec. 14 — Thomas K. Brantner Jr., 25, of Zelienople, was charged with felony carrying firearms without a license, two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence and one count of driving with a suspended license and several traffic citations. Police said that he crashed his motorcycle on Jo Deener Drive, showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed Brantner’s blood-alcohol content at 0.166%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

Dec. 14 — Dustin T. Adams, 37, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police stopped him Dec. 4 on Muddy Creek Drive, Brady Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Adams’ blood-alcohol content at 0.168%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 14 — George M. Luich Jr., 29, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police stopped him Dec. 11 on West Birch Street, Butler City. Police said a glass smoking device, yellow pill, green plastic grinder and five grams of marijuana were found in his vehicle.

Dec. 13 — Hannah N. Schoeffel, 24, of Butler, was charged with felony child endangerment, misdemeanors of DUI and reckless endangerment, and several traffic citations. Police said she crashed her vehicle Dec. 12 on Country Club Road, Franklin Township, and that she showed signs of impairment and suspected marijuana and paraphernalia were found in her possession.

Dec. 12 — Brandon P. Shields, 37, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Sportsman’s Supply Co. in Summit Township.

Dec. 12 — Colby J. McClelland, 25, of East Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police stopped him Sept. 25 in a parking lot in Oakland Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed McClelland’s blood-alcohol content at 0.246%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Dec. 9 — Owen A. Carlson, 22, of Erie, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police stopped him Nov. 26 on Interstate 79, Worth Township. Police said a digital scale and small amount of marijuana were found in his vehicle.
