Tasso Sfanos put up 23 points and Ryan Ceh 14 as Mars downed Farrell, 64-55, on the road. The Planets scored 30 points in the initial half and also got nine points out of Remi Black.

The Planets will be back in action against section opponent North Hills on Tuesday.

Summit Academy 53, River Valley 52 — Ki’Ron Douglas scored with 1.2 seconds left to cap the Knights’ 24-point fourth frame and give them a close victory in the Apollo-Ridge tournament Thursday.

The victory improved Summit Academy to a 4-1 record. The Knights will begin section play against Aquinas Academy at home on Wednesday.
