Kiester Road improvements coming with county grant
SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — The township received thousands of dollars in county municipal infrastructure grants, and plans for the funds are already under discussion.
According to Paul Dickey, chairman of the board of supervisors in Slippery Rock Township, the infrastructure grants stem from county American Rescue Plan Act funds.
Dave Neill, township engineer, said Tuesday that the township plans to use their $176,900 for improvements along Kiester Road.
“We’re looking at drainage and ditch improvements on one side of Kiester Road near Route 8,” Neill said.
