Gloria N. Terwilliger, 87, of Perry Township, Parker, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 7, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness.

Gloria was born in Rochester Township, Beaver County, on Oct. 24, 1935, and graduated from Rochester High School with the Class of 1953.

She retired from the D.E.P. at Knox, Pa., with the position of supervisor. She then worked as a teacher’s aide at the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District at Foxburg.

She was a member of the West Freedom United Methodist Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 60, formerly at Parker.

Gloria was a devoted Christian lady who showered much love on her family, church and community.

She was an excellent seamstress, avid quilter and a noted crafter.

Surviving are her devoted and beloved husband, E. Dale Terwilliger, whom she married in Rochester, Pa., on Aug. 19, 1960. Her family also includes a daughter, Christian, and her husband, Ed Conto, of Bruin; sons, Eric and his wife Kelly Terwilliger of Perry Township, and Blake Terwilliger of Eustis, Fla.; and her daughter-in-law, Anita Terwilliger, of Cabot, Pa. She also is survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son, Hans Terwilliger, on May 10, 2003.

TERWILLIGER — Visitation for Gloria N. Terwilliger, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker, and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday at the West Freedom United Methodist Church, near Parker. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church.
