New design of Diamond Park could feature outdoor performance space, “move away” from fountain
Plans are in motion to revamp Diamond Park in Butler, according to county commissioners at a Monday meeting.
The park is home to several monuments and a fountain, but Commissioner Leslie Osche said a few changes could make the whole area look different.
“The monuments are obviously stationary, we’re looking at maybe an adaptation of a water feature, we want to move away from the fountain,” she said. “We’re looking at a pavilion of sorts for an outdoor performance space and for ceremonies.”
