Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 4 — Delshawn L. Torres, 33, of Farrell, was charged with misdemeanor conspiracy and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $588 in merchandise without paying for it.

Jan. 4 — Ryan J. Piole, 20, of Gibsonia, was charged with two counts of theft. Police said as an employee, he would scan expensive merchandise with a 50 cent bar code and not pay the full price for the merchandise.

Jan. 4 — Angel M. Bell-Harris, 64, of Cranberry, was charged with a misdemeanor of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped her Dec. 28 on Rochester Road, and that she showed signs of impairment.

Jan. 4 — Richard J. Monz, 60, of Greensburg and Nicole R. Moody, 36, of Freedom, were charged with misdemeanors conspiracy, theft and possession of a criminal instrument. Police said they left Lowe’s with $271 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Butler Twp

Jan. 4 — Tiffany K. Konar, 20, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor property damage. Police said she crashed her vehicle Dec. 28 on Highland Avenue. that her vehicle struck another vehicle, and she fled the scene.

Jackson Twp

Jan. 3 — Stephanie L. Evanoski, 33, of New Castle, was charged with felony theft. Police said she left Walmart with $245 in merchandise without paying for it.

Jan. 3 — Michael A. Anidi, 34, of Farrell, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he took an iPad from a previous employer.

State Police, Butler

Jan. 13 — A 63-year-old Bruin woman was scammed out of gift cards by an illegitimate company called Axel Corp., police said. She applied for a job with Axel through a Facebook listing. The company told her to send gift cards as payment for equipment she would need to work from home. Police said she sent the cards and never heard from the company. Police said no legitimate company would require anyone to pay for anything with gift cards.

Jan. 4 — Steven P. Rudish, 39, of Cabot, was charged with four misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him on Bullcreek Road, Jefferson Township, and that a later blood test showed Rudish’s blood-alcohol content at 0.169% with traces of THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 4 — Cal L. Dittman, 37, of Butler, was charged with a two misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Nov. 17 at Pittsburgh and Renfrew Road, Penn Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Dittman’s blood-alcohol content at 0.127%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 4 — Jacob R. Ruth, 23, of Harmony, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he took a battery operated chain saw from a previous employer.

Jan. 4 — Brooke R. Fair Smith, 29, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found in possession of 1.94 grams of cocaine.

Jan. 3 — Jacob E. Hilton, 19, of Beaver in Beaver County, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone in the face multiple times.

Jan. 3 — Hayden T. Hamilton, 20, of Portersville, was charged with three misdemeanors DUIs. Police said they stopped him Nov. 20 on Old Forge Road, Slippery Rock borough, and that field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. A later blood test showed traces of THC in Hamilton’s blood.

Jan. 3 — Kristen S. Vargo, 25, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor false report. Police said she fabricated a report about someone assaulting her.

Jan. 3 — Basil A. Luchkiw Jr., 40, of Cabot, was involved in a vehicle accident on Schuler Road, Clearfield Township. Police said he crashed his vehicle into a fence and hit a parked vehicle before fleeing the scene.
