Fundraiser will support man pulled from burning car

People moved by the story of Ryan Davidson, the young man pulled from his burning vehicle by Butler Township police on Nov. 30, will have an opportunity to lend him their support Saturday.

A benefit dinner to raise money to help cover Davidson’s medical bills and family expenses as he recovers from his injuries will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Butler Moose Lodge, 225 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Diners will have a choice of spaghetti and meatballs with red sauce or penne pasta with homemade Alfredo sauce, plus salad, bread and butter, and a beverage for $10.

Auction baskets, an apparel table, psychic readings for $15 and a 50/50 drawing also will be available.
