Crews battled a structure fire at a cluster of townhouses Thursday morning in Zelienople.

Multiple families evacuated their homes into the early hours of Thursday morning as crews battled a blaze in Zelienople.

According to Harmony Fire District’s Facebook, they were dispatched around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday for a working structure fire at 102 Timberbrook Court, Zelienople. The address was for a cluster of townhouses.

Residents safely evacuated as crews worked to squelch the flames, which spread up the front of the house to three floors and into the attic space.

The fire started from the front of a Lincoln Navigator and spread to the house, crews reported.

Adams Area Fire District also responded to the scene.
