Freezing drizzle, possible snow for county Monday
The freezing drizzle county residents saw on their Monday morning commute is part of a larger winter weather advisory, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.
The forecast predicts a light glaze of rain and snow could mix and create slippery road conditions. The advisory stretches over Butler and northern counties like Lawrence, Mercer, Clarion and Beaver.
Meteorologists cautioned drivers to watch for hazardous traveling conditions until 10 a.m. The advisory is set to expire at that time.
