Karns City Area School District will have a special meeting to tell people the difference between the estimated project costs for the renovations to Chicora Elementary School and its actual costs following receipt of bids.

The hearing will take place at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Large Group Instruction room at Karns City Area High School, 1446 Kittanning Pike, Karns City. An explanation of all direct project building costs will be presented at this hearing, according to a notice from the school district.

A description booklet for the project has been made available during business hours at the school district administration office.

Everyone is invited to be heard at the public hearings. Parties interested in being placed on the meeting agenda or submitting written testimony may submit their names to the attention of the school board secretary at the district office by noon on Friday, Feb. 17, according to the public notice.
