1 injured in early Sunday morning shooting in Butler
Butler police are investigating a shooting that took place at around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, on West New Castle Street, that left a 43-year-old Butler man with a shoulder injury.
Police said they were alerted to an altercation by a neighbor who heard yelling and a single shot fired Sunday morning. They encountered Robert Green, who suffered a single gunshot wound through the shoulder.
Green’s injury was not life-threatening, and he was taken by ambulance to be treated at a Pittsburgh trauma center and was in stable condition, police said.
