Patricia J. Lobaugh of Butler, passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at Parker Personal Care, after 89 years of perpetual motion.

Born April 6, 1933, in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Jane Noblitt.

Patricia was a graduate of Clarion High School, and went on to attend Butler Nursing School. She was a registered nurse for Ralph Weimer OB-GYN, a private practice, for many years. She also worked in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital, where she made many lifelong nursing friends.

Patricia attended First United Methodist Church in Butler, and enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Lobaugh and his wife, Theresa, of Monarch, Mont.; three grandsons, Justin, David and Scott Lobaugh; and three great-grandchildren, Xander, Brinley and Vida.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Lobaugh, whom she married on May 4, 1955, and who passed away on Sept. 6, 2006.

LOBAUGH — Per her wishes, services and burial will be held privately for Patricia J. Lobaugh, who died Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s honor to any nursing education foundation of the donor’s choice.
